The CB we use is the Midland 75-822. I have found that Amazon.com has been pretty consistent at having this radio in stock and at a reasonable price $84.00.

The headset we use (or have been using) is the MotoComm MC-751 (for open face helmets) and the MC-551 (for full face helmets) . You can get them from California Sports Touring website at http://www.casporttouring.com/ for $49.98.

The other headset option is the headset made by IMC. The headset is identical to the MotoComm but from what I heard should be better quality. If anything goes wrong with my headset I plan on replacing it with this one. You can find this headset at Sierra Electronics’ website at http://www.sierra-mc.com. Their headset is IMC –HS130 (For Open face helmets) and IMC-HS110 (For Full Face Helmets) cost $60.00.

After purchasing the CB and the Headset all you will need is the coax cable and an external antenna. An antenna and coax cable will run about $20 - $30 dollars depending on the antenna you decide to purchase.

Leader Motorcycle has a mount that fits on your handle bars where you can clip the CB radio to. It is call the ECaddy “Original” and the cost of the mount is $35.95. This leaves a nice clean look for your bike.

Depending on which headset you decide on the total cost of the CB radio, headset and external antenna set up will cost between $163.98 - $173.98 and if you include the ECaddy bar mount then that will bump it up to $199.93 - $209.93.
